Couple & Engagements

But what if you want the love of your life to feel special that day?

We can work on that too! But it doesn’t happen when you go to random places and do photos that everyone has on their Facebook. Let’s make some new memories, to make it special and authentic!

You don’t know where to start with planning a couple photoshoot? Don’t worry!

First thing to think about is the general idea behind it.

Do you want a special engagement photoshoot? Or is it a gift for your anniversary? It will be different if you plan it for a special occasion or something more casual like Valentine’s Day. Photography is a flexible art, and we can definitely try different approaches on this one. If you don’t know if your idea is doable on one session, ask away! I’m here for you to answer all the questions regarding the technical stuff and your doubts about the project. It’s best to get it all sorted out before we start working, so all you had on your mind during the session is your happiness.

When you have this general idea of what you want, ask yourself if you want this to be a surprise gift photoshoot or something you both prepare for.

If your significant other doesn’t have much experience in front of the camera, they might feel stressed at first, and having control over how we look like definitely helps with the nerves. Think about it ahead of time, to make the session truly enjoyable for both of you.

If you want it to be a surprise, but also plan the session to require you both looking your best, tell them you are going for dinner, and you want them to look pretty or handsome. Tell them to wear their or yours favourite outfit, the one that makes them both astonishing and comfortable with themselves. This type of confidence will surely help during the session.

You can also just tell them that you are planning a photo session for you both so you can prepare and be at your best. It makes the whole situation less stressful for people who rarely get in front of the camera, and makes the whole situation a lot more fun. Remember, that this is just general advice, and you probably know your loved ones the most, so do what you think would work best for you.

The next thing to think about is the date and place of the photoshoot. You don’t want to plan a holiday season photo session with snow and all the spirit but then be surprised that it all melts down. Always have a backup plan and make your first option as foolproof as possible.

When it comes to a place, pick one that means something to you and your significant other. It might be your favourite restaurant, the place you went for your first date or something connected with your hermetic joke, something just you two understand. This will make the session much more enjoyable for both of you and will help you revive those memories, all at once.

Don’t worry about poses, your experience in modelling or other things that can be solved during the photoshoot. Your priority should be to enjoy the day with your significant other and have fun during the shooting. I will guide you through the whole process and propose poses and motions that might give the effect you desire. Communication during our time together is crucial for your satisfaction with the outcome. We are working on something you will want to look back to and think about all the happy time together!
